I’ve also tried their cornbread and mac and cheese from other people. Both are great. The cornbread is usually served cold so a little zap in the microwave and some butter to moisten it up and its perfect. Their man and cheese is creamy and cheesy. So good.
I’ve never had this chain before, so I was excited to hear when they were opening a location here on Schofield. The lines were long in the beginning, but now they aren’t too bad. They have a pretty good system here though, so even when the lines are long, it goes very quickly.
UPDATE: Pot Pie update: I give it a 9.5. I thought that the ratio of meat to veggies was good. It was creamy and flavorful and the crust was perfect. The only thing I would have changed would be the size. The top of the pie looks huge, but when you turn it over, the pie pan is about half the size of the top. Oh well. It was delicious.
They had these dark brownies and I asked the cashier what it was. He said it was a piece of heaven. Well now! How can I not try a piece of heaven?! It was a brownie with chocolate pieces in it I think, but it was like it wasn’t cooked all the way so it was really soft and chewy and RICH. I felt like I needed a gallon of milk after a small bite. But I guess if you really LOVE chocolate, you would love this brownie.
I had the chicken bowl last time. The bowl container is like one of those whole chicken containers from Costco. I had the creamed spinach and rice with chicken. It was delicious. I would go back for just the creamed spinach alone. They didn’t give a lot of chicken for the $7 price, but I didn’t mind too much as the spinach was so good and they gave TONS of sides.
Good food reminds of home in the main land chicken was flavorful and tender and mac n cheese was good
I will definitely be back in the near future. My coworker swears by their chicken pot pie. He says on a scale from 1-10 in pot pies, theirs scores a 9. The only improvement he would be would be to add more chicken. We’ll see soon.
I got it as a combo which means it comes with corn bread. I had to pay an additional $1.69 for a side of creamed spinach. Altogether it came out to about $8 with no drink. Not bad I guess. I will probably get the pot pie again with a side of creamed corn and forgo the meal.

The food was great! Everything was seasoned perfectly.
I had the meatloaf and it was pretty decent. Their menu is well priced and service was good.
